The Medicine Wheel 2012
at the Goudreault Farm

Summer Events Spring through Fall: Re-Opening July 4
(Everyday 10AM-6PM)
We welcome people of all beliefs to The Goudreault Farm Medicine
Wheel Garden; a 45 foot stone circle built by a community of volunteers in 2009 and inspired by the ancient tradition of Native American Medicine Wheels; spiritual windows which revealed the realities of heaven and earth as one, and helped people see more clearly that we are not separate and finite, but infinite and connected to each other and all life. We invite you to experience the energy of the Medicine Wheel Garden’s healing herbs and perennials, and walk the circle of this sacred space, built in harmony with Nature, as a place of meditation, celebration, renewal and vision which nurtures and connects the mind, heart and soul. Many come just to relax and de-stress, saying there is something naturally calming about a universal space dedicated, regardless of spiritual path or religion, to those devoted to knowing one’s highest self and to seeing God in all.

You are invited to join us in the experience of a yoga warm-up and guided
group healing meditation surrounded by the natural beauty of our Medicine Wheel Garden. Beginners who want to de-stress and do something new to expand their life journey, healers who want to recharge, and experienced meditators of every spiritual path are all welcome as we join together to realize more of our unlimited human capacity.
We meditate so that our minds can be focused, balanced, and released from patterns of the past which no longer serve us. It is a commitment to establishing peace within ourselves and an important step we can each take to advance global harmony and healing. We chant so our hearts will open, strengthen and heal, and our souls may be ignited like candles to guide us toward our true purpose and potential.
Instead of looking outside ourselves for something or someone to save us, uplift us, make us happy, or give us peace, we will go within, beyond the fear, frustration and separateness we perceive in our physical lives, to walk in the beauty and Light of our Infinite being as one with the energy and wisdom of the Source of All. Every moment we take to experience this part of who we are expands our capacity in every aspect of life.
What to Bring? In this setting Meditation participants will be seated on the ground and closely aligned with the earth. I recommend you wear loose comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, cushion if unaccustomed to sitting, or a folding chair if preferred. Tradition also encourages a shawl, scarf, or bandana as head covering during our practice. Bugs don’t join in until after 8PM and have never been a problem, but natural pest self-sprays or lotions are OK. Please apply before arriving at class.
